Travel requirements
Spanish passport holders planning to visit Sri Lanka, should be aware of the following entry requirements:

Passport:

Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of arrival in Sri Lanka and must have at least two blank pages.
Visa:

A visa is required to enter Sri Lanka. For stays up to 30 days, you can apply for an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) through the official portal: (eta.gov.lk)

You will also need to fill out an immigration form available online.

For stays longer than 30 days, you must check the procedures on the Sri Lankan Embassy website in Paris.

Upon Arrival:

Visitors must present a valid passport, a return ticket, and proof of sufficient funds for their stay, such as hotel reservations, credit cards, or cash.

Visa Extension:

If you wish to extend your tourist visa, you must apply at least 8 days before it expires at the Department of Immigration and Emigration in Colombo.

Vaccines:

A yellow fever vaccination is required for travelers coming from areas affected by the disease.

It is recommended to always carry your passport with you, as local law requires you to be documented at all times.
